Corset made from repurposed ballet pointe shoes, in pale pink satin. Made from 5 pairs of shoes, pieces cut flat and overlapped to create a softly textured body, heightening the contrast and shine.
Elastic ballet shoe drawstring is used as corset straps which can be tied at the top of shoulder. **Ribbons cascading out of the horizontal seams at sides will not be included in the piece.
Heavy-duty construction guaranteed. Fully boned for structure, with stainless steel grommets at back for lacing.

Can be carefully washed by hand in lukewarm water, with an all-natural or neutral pH soap (I use Mrs. Meyer's brand). Because satin has a tendency to scuff with too much abrasion, scrub very gently. Hang or lay flat to dry. Please remove back lacing ribbon before washing.
